John.

Sorry, that should have read “spent.” Typing too fast…

John.

Hey, I’ve been waiting for this report! Can you just post it here? I know it was pouring that day and was afraid that would ruin the visit.

yes, I know you’re probably hesitant to get into another thread that takes off on another tack, but I know lots of families who have this school in their “interested” folder and I would like to know what another CCer thinks.

Youdon’tsay, you are correct. The weather was terrible.

Dragonmom, those families, or anyone else for that matter is welcome to PM me. I’ll be glad to share what I’ve learned.

John.

Peace, John. Please share your report. I am truly interested and hope the weather didn’t dampen your daughter’s enthusiasm. It is helpful to have this sort of information out where others can view it in the future.

Well, that took all of 53 minutes… LOL!

As far as I know, PM’s work fine and after the way the original Texas State thread was dragged down the toilet, I’m sure a lot of folks who want to discuss that school would be more comfortable asking questions via PM anyway…

John.

Well, I tried to update my initial visit report on the Campus Visits page, but it wouldn’t let me…

Hmmm.

John.

So write a new one…

I tried that too.

I’ll try again and see what happens.

I’ve responded to several PM’s already, and don’t mind that at all. In fact, I prefer it as I can answer specific questions.

John.

Except the point of this forum is to share information publicly about schools, and by being afraid to post on the forum it defeats the purpose. You might not be around in a year or so when someone else might want some information on the school.

My D will be on campus next Wednesday for her theatre audition. She’s been there before for shows and also for summer camp a couple of years ago, but I’ll ask her to post an updated visit report here too.

Given how you and some others belittled John on the other thread about TSU, I can understand his reluctance to post further about it.

He has graciously offered to answer PM’s from anyone - and I know he will do so (he sent me a couple letting me know the results of his daughter’s great visit).

I don’t understand why some folks can not respect his wishes. If you are sincerely interested in TSU, PM him and he will give you more info. There is no need for this thread to be also dragged down into the toilet by continuing to question and pester him to post more here.

And berryberry to the rescue! As I said, I am interested in the visit report and I’m sure it would be helpful to others in the future. It is certainly John.'s right not to post it, but it is also my right to encourage him to do so. As I said, “Peace”.

What berry said. I’ll be glad to reply to anyone’s PM, and have already responded to several. I don’t mind at all.

John.

A few more PM’s answered. Thanks for asking. I don’t mind a bit…
