Texas Tech Admission Check.HELP ASAP

Hey there, i'm new to this site...
Well, i'm thinking about getting into Texas Tech University and i just need to know if my "basic" Stats match the school's assured admission. Also, i'm currently a Junior and haven't took the SAT yet, however i took the PSAT:

-Made an 1600 on PSAT
- GPA 5.3 on a 6.0 scale (Still as a Junior)
-Ranked in Quarter 2 in my HS (very big and competitive school)
-Took 2 clubs and i would be able to join a Foreign Language Honor society at the end of Year.

-i'm expecting to score a 1300 on SAT IF I'M LIKE SICK OR ON THE VIERGE OF DIEING.. LIKE THE WORST CASE SCENARIO.. because of took SOO many practice tests is not even funny..(i'm talking Kaplan, College Board, Priceton, etc.. 2 editons of EACH:.)

So that's my "Background"..
Also, i'm wondering about if i have a chance of getting in TAMU or U of H.
I just need a confidence boost on how i'm doing before next year comes.
PLZ HELP.

Texas tech is fairly easy to get into, you probably should aim higher on sat. The sat average is 1500 and take the act also. And also raise your grades, try your hardest to get into the top quarter of you class.
Good look!!!

First, it’s great that you are beginning to seriously explore your college/university options. Now the fun begins. My advice is to (1) start browsing the admissions requirements at the colleges/universities yourself and (2) then contact via email the regional admissions persons for Texas Tech, TAMU, etc. for the questions the university website does not answer. Then you will know exactly what you need to do for yourself to get ready for admission to your desired schools (sounds preachy, but I don’t mean to be). I practice what I preach. I googled “assured admission Texas Tech” and then copy and pasted (see below) this from the Tech website. By the way, I am a huge Tech booster even though I did not go to college there (my son did and had a wonderful experience). Good luck!

Assured Admission

You are assured admission if you are graduating from an accredited high school and present the required combination of high school class rank and college entrance test scores indicated below. The required SAT scores for assured admission are based on the math and critical reading portions only.

Class Rank

Test Scores*

ACT

SAT

Top 10%

No Minimum

First Quarter (excluding top 10%)

25

1140

Second Quarter

28

1230

Third Quarter

29

1270

Fourth Quarter

Application Review

*ACT composite score; SAT sum of critical reading and math; writing portions of both tests are required, but not used in determining assured admission. We combine the highest SAT critical reading and math scores from multiple test dates.

Some academic colleges and departments at Texas Tech only accept students who meet assured admission requirements:
