Hello, I’m currently planning on transferring to texas tech from new jersey. I’m in a 4 year university and have a 2.3 gpa because i failed a science course and it brought down my gpa, i’ve earned 26 credit hours and by the end of spring 2017 I will have 40 credits, do you believe I will have a chance in getting in for fall 2017 semester?
Per Tech requirements your a auto admit if you have 24+ hours and a minimum GPA of 2.25. Keep your GPA above 2.25 and you will be good to go.
@Grainraiser what if my GPA falls bellow a 2.25 but I still get 25+ credits is there still a chance? (just wondering on the chance I won’t let my gpa get any lower than it already is)
If it falls below 2.25 you will have to thru individual review. There is no way of knowing what would be the outcome if this happens.
