<p>Hi I am a junior and a texas resident looking to major in engineering at Tech.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.75 weighted
SAT: 1820
class rank is 437/1406 which is about top 30%</p>

<p>rigorous course load including 7 honors classes, 4 AP classes, and 4 dual credit classes, and not sure what my scores on the AP exam are yet.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars include 3 years of high school soccer, 7 years of club soccer, national spanish honor society, 3 years as a soccer referee, 2 years in band, and good community service </p>

I think you are in, at least at the school I go to, you can have as low as a 3.4 and an average SAT around 1700s. I’m thinking about applying as my backup school, since it’s good for financial aid as a Texas resident. Also, those scores could get you into schools like A&M CS, maybe UTA depending on your school.

But you have a sold chance for Texas Tech GL and get $$$$$$$$$!
