Texas Tech provisional admit

HI! I am kind of new to this forum. :)
I confuse about my application status. I applied to Texas Tech University and I found out that I have been provisionally admitted to their school which means I have to go to community college to get 6 hrs of credits and at least 2.5 GPA in this summer. My questions are: what percentage of getting full admission? Will they change their mind before I finish my summer classes? Should I be worry?
Anyone who from Tech or in the same situation as a provisional students, please help me out
I am thankful.

My friend is going through the same thing. She says they told her as long as she passes the two classes this summer, she’s in like a regular freshman in August. She can register for housing and orientation on April 1st as long as she shows proof that she’s registered for summer classes. The only thing you should worry about is getting a 2.5 because they’re not changing their mind.

Thank you for your reply!
I wonder that they care about your final transcript in high school anymore?
You can register for housing and orientation before or after you get full admission ?

My friend says she gets to apply for housing and orientation on April 1st. She had to give them proof that she was registered for her summer classes.
