Texas transfer to Upenn?

I go to Texas State University and Im currently a sophomore. Freshman GPA was 3.3 1st sem 2.7 2nd sem and 3.75 summer. I will have a 4.0 this semester and I calculated my overall will be a 3.31. I am in the business school here dual major in finance and economics.

SAT is about average 530/630/570

Do I have a chance of getting in to UPenn Wharton, Berkely Haas, or other "better" schools.

Is it worth transfering? Im paying $12000ish a year for in-state tuition would it be worth paying even the cheapest Berkely $27000 a year out-of-state tuition? I plan on getting an MBA from one of these schools if I stay here and graduate. Thanks!

Because of your low TSU GPA, I doubt you will get into the other colleges, even less likely their business schools.

Your GPA and SAT are too low for those top schools, let alone the top undergraduate business programs. On top of that, transfer applicants have it tougher than freshmen applicants so your chances are slim as a transfer student.

So do you think It will work out ok if I graduate from here with high GPA and nice resume (Ive been working since I was 16) and get into a good MBA program?
