<p>But I am not able to find this ISBN at Amazon or Half.com. I guess it has an UCSD custom ISBN with Aris card ( They sure make it difficult to buy books outside) . Can someone provide the ISBN for the text book alone so I can save some money at half .com. </p>
<p>Is it possible to sign up for Aris separately if required - Is it okay to do that, or is too much of a risk that I am better off buying at UCSD with the Aris.</p>

<p>The ISBN listed are for the UCSD ONLY ~bundles~… its very sneaky of the bookstore and UCSD to bundle seemingly not important things like the questionnaire and aris card, which you can’t find elsewhere, so people will have to buy from them…</p>

<p>My first quarter’s classes don’t contain any of those Aris card or custom ISBN… But would it be okay to e-mail the professors, if I run into that problem in the future, asking about the book ahead of time?</p>
<p>go ahead and email them. all of mine always responded. the worst that can happen is that they won’t know the answer and will just ignore it.</p>
<p>I remember using google to find my books but I bought them mostly from Amazon.</p>
