I can post a picture later.

First book's ISBN: 9780536293732
Second book's ISBN: 9780767908184

It's the same title, different copyright date and seemingly different publication. I'm sure the material inside is the same.

If anyone can confirm this, I am willing to sell last year's textbook in BRAND NEW UNUSED condition for a very discounted price.

Try advertising on the LJ community and on Facebook marketplace, too?

I am taking the Cosmos cluster this coming fall. How much are you willing to sell it for? And has anyone confirmed that the contents are the same?

I heard from someone that the professor says that it is the same book this year as last.

I cannot completely confirm this information and you should do so at your own discretion prior to buying the book.

It is being sold for $127.50 at the UCLA bookstore.

My copy is in BRAND NEW MINT/NEVER USED condition and I will sell it for $100 shipped. Will listen to reasonable offers.

for the LA cluster, there are 4 books listed. i only got one of them, the so cal one listed on the bottom. does anybody know where i can get one in good condition but in the best price? ebay? or should i be safe by just getting it from ucla store?

dawritingmachine, you have several options:

1) If you want to get something in person, you can generally get them for just about the same or lesser prices at a used bookstore called Textbooks Plus in Westwood. It's about a 10 minute walk from Ackerman Union, down Westwood Blvd. Its cross-street is LeConte.
2) You can order it from eBay/Half.com/Amazon. You can also go to http://www.campusi.com (Thanks Jinobi!)

You can generally be safe at Textbooks Plus. For my Dover Thrift edition texts (usually $2.50-5.00) I just opt for TPlus to avoid shipping and inconvenience. For the more expensive books (i.e. textbooks), I opt for Half.com. ASUCLA is my last resort. I only go there if I've added a class late and I desperately need to catch up and the book is unavailable at TPlus.

its identical. i asked the prof for the cluster, he told me that we are using the same book

Book is still available for $100 shipped in BRAND NEW/MINT condition. Willing to accept reasonable offers.

Wha? When did I give that bit of advice? =D

i hear about the Mystery Bookstore @ broxton ave. is this an ideal place for txtbks?

No. It's a specialty store I think for those sorts of novels.

IDK, you've mentioned it a few times before to me.

(bump)

Any buyers?
