Can anyone tell what the textbooks for ODE, PDE, and Real Analysis are? Also how hard are the advanced Micro and Macro classes? Thanks!

Dear god. If you’re a first year taking those classes, you need to relax.

You’ll have to take the 3000 level micro/macro courses regardless and those aren’t too hard. (esp. if you’re econ-math).

ODE is Boyce 9th ed but some profs allow you to use the 8th ed.

Unless you’re the pure academic type, just take some easier classes and enjoy the social aspects of freshman year. You’ll have plenty of time to be busy when you’re an upperclassman

ODE is a prereq for PDE, just so you know…

Haha don’t worry, I’m not taking Real Analysis until second year. I’m taking PDE in the spring.

From what I’ve heard, Intermediate Micro/Macro should be pretty easy as I’m a math superstar so I’m not too worried about that class. I’m just trying to plan out my schedule for all four years (cause that’s what I do when I’m bored lol).

Also, does anyone have the textbook information for STAT W3105 Introduction to Probability and STAT W3107 Introduction to Statistical Inference?
