Textbook Names for Courses

Hey guys,
Do you know where I can find a list of textbook titles used for courses at Columbia? Is there a website with this information? Thanks for your help!

The Columbia bookstore will have them and just give you the books when you tell them which classes you're taking.

To my knowledge, no. They make it exceedingly difficult to get info on textbooks in order to make the CUBookstore as much of a monopoly as possible and to inhibit your ability to find them elsewhere for a cheaper price.

You can use the CU Bookstore web site to find out some of the course textbooks for fall 2007. Not all are listed and I am not sure they are 100% accurate but at least for certain courses you can find some information.
Go to http://www.campusstores.com/columbia/index.asp and click on the department you are interested in. Certain sections will show up and then the textbooks will be listed.

Try CHEM C 1403 and it appears that Oxtoby is the textbook of preference.

Then try finding it cheaper on Ebay or Half.com

You can also look at Labyrinth Books, they still have the text books from last spring listed.
