Textbook question

DD is taking Chem 111 this fall. When we search for the textbooks for this class, it shows a package, and then it shows package components. If we purchase the package, it should contain the package components, right? It also lists an i-clicker as required. Has anyone else taken this class and do they really use the i-clicker? Would love to get her textbooks from Amazon, but it's so darn confusing!!

Great question…can’t wait to see the answer.

Also ask this on facebook group to get responses from people who actually have taken chem 111. I tend to buy packages from USC and other stuff from Amazon, but daughter hasn’t (didn’t need clicker for physics) had a class where there was a package like this. I know students will sell I-clickers…hopefully AUgirl or other students will respond.

If buy package from USC and it’s shrinked wrapped together, DO NOT open package until you’ve been to class. If you don’t need it and want to return they won’t give you a refund if you have opened it.

I can’t answer the original question but I’m wondering if anyone has had any trouble with online orders with the bookstore. I ordered a ton of books back in the beginning of July. When I went to order an additional book that was just added for my d last night I noticed that her original order wasn’t listed at all in her account although I’ve received several confirmations of the order. I called the bookstore today and they looked up my order number and said they had no record of anything even though my confirmation has all the books listed and my charge info etc. The girl helping me even asked me if I was sure I ordered the books from that bookstore. The confirmation is clearly from the univ of sc bookstore … I have an order number and a box number etc. so what happened to my order? I really don’t want to reorder everything again as I’m afraid somehow I’ll end up charged twice. Anyone else have this problem? I m wondering if I should have ordered from amazon to ensure she has these books in time? I’m a little frustrated as I thought I had this done early and am also in the middle of ordering my other d s books for college. I just want to make things easy since we live far and would like my d to be able to just have everything ready for her when she gets there.

Also wanted to add my d even got a confirmation of this missing order in her university email so what could have happened to the order?

Call back tomorrow and ask for manager and forward them a copy of your confirmation email.

/\ That’s what I was thinking. It s just weird that we both rec d confirmations. She tried pulling it up several ways too.
