Textbook Questions

<p>As an incoming freshmen, do most students have to bring textbooks to their classes like in high school? Or do they leave textbooks in their dorms and just take notes in the class?</p>

<p>If so, is it better to just have electronic versions of the textbooks so you're not carrying all that weight?</p>

<p>depends on the person and the class. </p>

<p>I do not trust the elcetronic versions simply because i’ve had to deal with two major virus attacks here lately and do not wish to risk it.</p>

<p>If you do get the books, bring only what is required (ie: what book you are reading currently or the basic math book you know you’ll need if the prof decides to assign stuff).</p>

<p>Electronic editions are fine if one makes back-up copies; I did this last semester with no trouble.</p>

<p>I never had to bring textbooks to class in high school. NEVER!</p>

<p>So far, in my college classes, I’ve only had to bring the book to one. My sociology class…and that was just the professor’s preference.</p>
