Hi,

I've decided to self-study AP US Government this year as a sophomore. I have the Princeton Review prep book, but I'd like to have a textbook also.

Anyone have any suggestion for a good textbook they used in their class?

Do I even need a textbook?

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

I self studied Us gov't last year by only using the Princeton Review prep book...i scored a 5 on the exam.

Moral of the story: Textbook isn't necessary for a 5.

Good luck!

Same, a lot of the US Government stuff in textbooks isn't on the real AP Exam. I'd suggest going for Prep books. For that, you should check the stickie at the top.

Thanks very much you'llsee... and lolilaughed!
