So the course guide doesn't say which book I need for a particular class, and I can't find it online. Anyone know where I can find this info?

Thanks!

In WebSTAC under your class schedule, there is a button that says "Order Textbooks" or something of that nature. If you click that button it will take you to the bookstore website and your textbooks will be listed.

I found it, thanks again!

I've got another question, actually. The bookstore site doesn't list any ISBNs, and I'd like to be sure I'm getting the right version when I buy the books from Half.com or Amazon. Any idea where I can get the ISBNs, short of actually going to the on-campus bookstore?

no, there is no way to actually find the ISBN number on the campus bookstore. Your best bet would be to just type the name of the book into amazon, half.com, etc. and make sure you're getting the correct edition. that's what i had to do.

I've heard that sometimes the problem sets in textbooks purchased from 3rd parties could be different even if the edition/author or even the ISBN is the same. Is this going to be a problem with textbooks from Amazon or Half.com?

I've used cheapesttextbooks.com many times. If you type in the name and/or author of the book, it will give you the ISBN in the description of the book. It also gives links to websites that list that book at cheap prices.

yeah, you could also try half.com or campusi.com. campusi will show you the price for new and used books for many different sites and you can usually find some pretty good deals :)
