Textbooks for computer science?

Woudl anyone know some good CS textbooks/books for programming and artificial intelligence?

AIMA for AI
SICP for intro to cs

haha i saw a girl at my college wearing a shirt that said "there's no place like 127.0.0.1" next to Dorothy's red slippers

(notice above poster's location)

Depends what language you're programming in... When I was a freshman I used Cay Horstmann's Java and C++ books and found them to be pretty good, I'm only taking AI this year though and I don't have any recommendations for that yet.

(and I have that "There's no place like 127.0.0.1" shirt, along with "How many people can read hex if only you and dead people can read hex?" - CS girls ftw!)

Horstmann's books suck if ya ask me. I have a few of them. The best Java book is by Michael Main Data Structures & other objects using Java 3rd edition.

Yeah, I used that one (5th edition though I think). It was pretty good.
