Textbooks now???

Hey guys,

I have already signed up for my fall quarter classes, and the textbooks are already up in the course description. Should I get my books now or wait till school starts? Is there any chance of the profs changing their textbooks from now till school starts?

Thanks

If you want used books, the thing to do is go to the campus in person and buy them, that way you can actually see how bad highlighting in them is. Don't ever trust when somebody posts a book online saying that there is almost no highlighting!!! I've had it before where they say there is almost none, and yet whole sections of the book is neon yellow...

On the other hand UCLA doesn't go back until almost October, so you've got some time.

Get them now while they are cheap. You won't want to buy them in late September. You won't want to know why.

If you're worried about the second question, you can always go to http://www.directory.ucla.edu, search their name, and email them. While you're at it, you might as well ask if the edition matters... save yourself some money...
