I rented and they gave me 1 new book, 2 used books with no writing and were practically new, and a calculus book that was decent, no highlighting or writing, just worn from being put in bags, etc

I got them from this store on the drag a little south of the co-op. It was simple and a lot less expensive than the co-op. I just brought in the list of books I needed and they got them from the back. Took 5 minutes.

I don’t think I’ll be able to buy em the first week cz of financial aid. Hope coop and other stores have enough left in stock.

look at craigslist…i buy most my books off students now

Do you use myedu.com? If so, when you are on the screen with your semester schedule, there will be a tab at the top about textbooks. Click there and they will give you suggestions on where to find the cheapest books. Use with caution of course. The cheapest ones tend to be international editions. Although they are cheap, they have significant shipping charges and you may have problems reselling them. Still, they site can be a good start.

I could sell you or anyone else an M 408D book for half price, if you’re interested…but otherwise, I found craigslist to be the fastest and Amazon if you have time for orders. For books that are new or that you can’t find for cheaper prices, go ahead and check out the school store.
