Textbooks...

Hi, so I'm in Math 31b with Radko and English comp 3 with Prescott... and me being the person I am, forgot to order textbooks for pick up. Basically, what are my options now? I was thinking to just go to the bookstore when i move in and get my math book, since that seems pretty important. I also emailed Professor Prescott about the books for the class, and she said that not all the books required were listed on the textbooks page for her class on the UCLA bookstore website. Would the books I need to get be sold out if I went the day I move in? Thanks!!

There’s a chance it will, but… there are other options like Amazon, where the books could be cheaper. And I sorta doubt the books will be sold out, because not everybody in your Math 31B knows that there were books not listed on the textbooks page.

Oh it was the english class that had missing books on the list. Ya i checked amazon for the math 31b book and i think it either costed more or about the same as the one in the bookstores. Plus i’m moving in the weekend so I don’t want to risk it being sent to the wrong place or not getting it to me in time. Thanks, i’m just worried that they won’t have the books in the store when i try to go buy them.

woah. the answer to college textbooks is postyourbook.com :stuck_out_tongue:
best way to save money on our textbooks, and pick them up from students in our school. its also really easy to sell your books cuz you’re selling it to a student in the same school as you. I think of it as a cragislit for textbooks… just much better
