textbooks

do we have to buy it at the university store.. can we get them at half price or amazon.. u know save money?

You can buy your books anywhere you want to. Or trade someone else for the books. Or just perpetually borrow someone's book.

Whatever works for you.

You can do whatever you want, just as long as you get the right edition of the book.

I bought through the store first semester, and it cost me about $600. But second semester I didn't have to buy many at all, a couple of my classes just used the same text as last semester, for my writing seminar I had to buy (was able to buy them used at the school store), but the others I was able to either borrow or buy at more than half off from people that had taken the course last semester. I think my total bill this semester was like $120.
