I am considering self-studying Environmental Science, European History, and Human Geography next year because they are not offered as classes at my school. What textbooks would you recomend using for those subjects? Also, I was wondering, what is the difference between U.S. Government and Comparative Government? Thanks!

US government = US government
Comparative government = government of 6 countries

European History = A History of the Modern World by R.R. Palmer.

That was the text we used last year for my AP Euro class.

Thanks! Does anyone have any ideas for good textbooks for environmental science or human geography?

Bump...sorry to bump my own board...but I'm desperate!

For environmental science, check out this link: http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/courses/teachers_corner/51930.html

It's a list of recommended textbooks from collegeboard, though I've never personally looked at any of them.

we also used history of a modern world this year
