I dunno how I'm gonna be able to afford all this...
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Amazon.com

Try bruinwalk.com . Students are always selling their books there, and for prices drastically lower than the UCLA bookstore. I'm buying all my course stuff for next quarter from that site (saving myself over $200).

FYI, many people have told me that for Chem 14C/[D?] we'll neither use/need the text (even though it is stated as 'required'), but I'm getting it as an extra available resource (I'm a stickler for reading the book lol)--the 2 things only really needed for that class are the thinkbook & the lecture supplement. The model building kit is the same from 14A/B, if you already have it.

For physics, I heard that we'll need the 'webassign access code' normally included when one buys the book package directly from the bookstore; but that can be purchased online I think.

Hope this helps.

P.S. - I'm taking those exact classes next quarter! Maybe I'll see you some time in lecture :)
