Question to all current students: where do you purchase your textbooks? It seems as though the Cornell store is overpriced...can you recommend a good online retailer? Or is it just not worth the hassle to buy from outside?

buy it from the book store first. Then get it verify by your professors. After your professor has finalized the book, order a a used, cheapier copy online. Once you get you used copy, return the book you brought from the book store.

you can find the book you need online by writing down the isbn of the book.

Have any current students bought new books and then sold them back at the end of the semester? Is this an easy thing to do? My books basically look unread/untouched when I'm done with them after a year.

I believe that the Cornell store has a policy that they buy back all books bought from them at the end of the semester. (Someone correct me if i am wrong). Sure you won't get the price you paid, but at least you get the guarantee they will buy it back and that you will get some of your money back.
