Textbooks

Hey, I found my stuff. I rented the Calc 3 book, had to buy the Chem book from Ulrichs and the other Chem book was I gess only a workbook, so it was like $30

yeah Calc Book the 5th edition is also avaliable online… and you can just pring out the 500 pages for your selected calc level (I, II, or III)

Im cool renting it, printing that all out seems excessive. Plus i’ve already taken this class

Where do you guys go to rent books? Is it safer to order them now, or would it be okay to wait until we move in, and buy/rent them at a book store in AA? They wouldn’t be sold out if we waited until the last week would they?

Also, has anyone bought books for psych 111 or engr 101 yet? Info still isn’t up on WA…

And thanks QwertyKey! I’ll double check and make sure they want us to get the 5th edition. I’m hoping I can find a cheap 5th edition to buy, but if I can’t, I’ll let you know!

you can also check the bookstore tool for your book list, go to website of the
Michigan bookstore at the union and put in the course and section and you can see what books you need.

Ok, thanks fredmar. Is it safe to look up books that way and order them (either from that site, or half.com or whatever)? I noticed that you could look up books that way a few days ago, but I thought it might be outdated info from last year, seeing as the professors haven’t put the information up on WA.

Also for example, when I look up engineering 101 books on ulrich’s, under “section” it only has 200 (J. Ringdenberg’s). I have a different professor, so is it possible that the books I need will be different?

I really want to order my books (especially for engineering 101 since it looks like I need 3?) so any more help would be greatly appreciated!

Actually nvm about the last part, 101 books are up on WA :)
