<p>I think this may have come up in an earlier post but because it is particularly timely and things may have changed I was wondering what advice you all may have about the best way to go about purchasing textbooks. I have heard that the bookstore is expensive. Do you recommend trying to buy books via the internet? Is that less expensive and what source would you recommend? When do the students find out what books are required for each course? Thanks.</p>

<p>The freshman Bio text cannot be purchased anywhere EXCEPT at the UR Bookstore since the classes (Bio 110 and Bio 112) use a customized edition.</p>
<p>Google Shopping is your friend–use it. You should start searching and purchasing soon since you will need your texts by the end of the first week of classes. </p>
