In Math 20A will we be using the questionnaire? I can’t find it anywhere. And will I be able to buy textbooks when I get to campus?

@ yunjh2725: I can’t say for sure until we receive the book order from the professors for winter quarter, but since it’s being used for fall, that’s unlikely to change.

@GravityxZero35: Since the first book is both single & multivariable (5th ed.), and the second required text is just multivariable,it looks like you’d be safe just getting the first one…but i’ll have to get back to you on that

@92faim: URPS is the University Reader Printing Service

@californiagurl92: You can actually reserve your textbooks online ahead of time and pick them up when you get to campus, but if you want to wait there should be books available. As for the questionnaire, I’d email your professor first, and if it turns out you need it, it’s actually cheaper(granted, by a few bucks) to buy the book with the questionnaire

Hope this helped. Shoot me a PM if anything

At orientation I signed up for the textbook reservation service. Are we allowed to take some of the books (such as the chem6a book, because it is ucsd custom) and buy our other books from other places (amazon, half.com)?

If you didn’t go textbook reservation can you still get a UCSD custom?

Yes to both.

its ok to buy internation versions right?
it says its the same content just soft cover

for math 20a i can buy the first half of the textbook right? the single variable calculus book? it doesnt include multivariable calculus

ok so I bought that Connected: The Surprising Power of Our Social Networks book online…thing is I accidentally bought the audio CD version -___- Do I need the actual book or would these audio CDs do the job?

Does anyone know what the textbook cover for Math 10B looks like? So I don’t get the wrong one, hahaha.
