I am an international students who's currently enrolling at University of Wisconsin, not Madison.
I am sophomore now, and plan to transfer to Madison (well, this is the first choice) or other universities. No matter what states. My goal is Top 50.

So I am so stressful now. Because I just have IELTS score which was only 6.0 and no TOFEL. I will take them asap before most schools' deadlines I think.

My Stats----
1st semester GPA 3.30
2st semester GPA 2.53, Cum GPA 2.90
(I failed my applied calculus ON PURPOSE. Because I thought I can get an A but I just made some stupid mistakes during the first two exams and could just got AB. Then I didn't go to the class anymore, so professor gave me F. This semester I retake it. I think I'll get an A. This is a 4 credits course.)

So:
1. If I got an A on applied calculus, will the Cum GPA grow very high?
2. Mine are all A, AB and B so far. Only a D for a 1 credit course (a non important one) If I keep working like this, is it good enough to transfer to a top 50?
3. As I'm in UW system, someone told me transferred to Madison would be easier than students from other States. Is that right?
4. I am in an sorority now. If I have more volunteer hours, will it be helpful?
5. At last, what is the key elements for schools accepting an international transfer students..........????!!!

I would like everyone who answers my questions. Thank you so much. I am so confused now.
