thank you for sending SAT... WHAT

Hey,
Did anymore get the thank you for sending sat score letter?
I got one in the mail today even though i sent my scores weeks ago. i just found it entertaining because it was like, your scores and indicated class performance make you a student who traditionally has enrolled and done well at emory.

idk. i just found it entertaining and was wondering who else got it.

i applied regular decision with scholars app.

same exact thing as you

yeah...what the hell.

I got it even though I only scored a 1990...?
haha.

Last year, my D had sent her scores in junior year (June)....she got this letter in November, after she applied....get used to the Emory timeline for correspondence....later on, she was waitlisted and refused the waitlist....she gets a letter in JULY that she was still on the waitlist.....she finally called admissions directly to clear it all up.....

hmmm... I haven't gotten a letter like this. BTW my SAT score was 2260.

i didn't get one either... what does this mean?!

maybe your SAT wasnt AMAZING in your previous attempts, but dont let that get to you since its not their decision of enrollment. i dont think i got one either, but im not going to worry about that.

yeah rikimusha it's not that important I guess but I just find it kinda strange that I didn't get a letter with a 2260 get one but Sail640 did with a 1990. Whatever, I just can't wait until December 15...

yeah thats strange that you didnt get one. my SAT is a 2120..

haha yeah i got one too. Only I received mine a couple of days after I submitted my application. However, I actually live like 45 mins or less from Emory, so that is likely why I received my letter so quickly. And I've also received a letter for every part of the application that I have submitted. I guess that they're just very thoughtful - thought the excessive letter thing is a little strange (but kinda classy, too).
