Thank you for teacher?

I'd like to thank a teacher I had in 8th grade (who moved up with the high school with us) She was one of the best teachers I've had, and this year she let me come and sit in her room when I had extra help/drivers ed/no ride home haha She also wrote me a great letter of rec at the last minute because I was afraid my other teacher wouldn't get it done in time (I asked her the first week in december she had it for me a week later). She's helped me with projects for apes all year and just overall being one of the sweetest people ever. I'm going to school to be an earth science teacher (what she teaches) next year, and she was very happy to hear :)
I definitely plan on writing her a nice thank you note, but I was wondering if I should give her something? My grandparents own a flower shop and my mom suggested giving her a bouquet...would that be good? Or too much? I'm so bad at stuff like this!!

Well, a single lovely rose would be perfect. Just make sure you end it with a hug :D

Flowers are good… you can also add a giftcard or college gear with that. =]

Yep everyone said good stuff. I gave teachers a box of chocolate covered strawberries because, well, everyone loves chocolate covered strawberries.

haha well she’s a germaphobe (like washes her hands every ten minutes…its a good thing she teaches science and has a sink in her room!) soo I don’t think there will be any hugs, but I think I’m going to go after school on the last day and give her a nice bouquet with a thank you card thanking her for everything and some memories from her class…It’s something she’ll appreciate keep for years =] I’d feel awkward giving her a gift card or some sort of gift that she won’t use…flowers are always a wonderful thank you!

hopefully she doesnt keep the bouquet for years

I love the idea of giving her flowers.
