<p>This is my first & probably only thread or post. I just want to thank all who have posted, both parents & students My son will be a frosh very soon. I came across CC by chance earlier this year. It helped me pass the time while waiting for April 1. It gave me another perspective about the whole process. I also learned much. Right now I'm enjoying the thread about packing. The humor & warmth helps with this big transition. </p>

<p>Overall, I've been impressed with the mutual support & have benefitted from it. Thank you. I doubt I'll ever post again, but if as my son matriculates I find something helpful to add, I will in his college's section.</p>
