While this post is more directed to W&M Admission, I guess it doesn't hurt to throw out my opinions to everyone on here.

Dear W&M Admission,

I just wanted to thank you for being so incredibly helpful during this entire process through your huge social presence, most notably here on CC. Unfortunately, I have passed up my offer of admission to W&M in favor of attending Boston College, but it was by no fault of your office. I appreciated how I could post here and, within a day, I could receive a personal reply straight from "The Man" (aka your office). I really wish the application process was as easy and helpful at some of the other schools I applied to.

As for why I did not accept admission, it was just a couple factors. First, I think W&M is a little too small for me. While I appreciate the family atmosphere, it's just not my style. Secondly, the lack of a "college town" was definitely a negative point. Williamsburg is an absolutely beautiful city, but there was nothing there that grabbed me by my collar and stood out. Finally, the last reason was the "gut factor." When I attended a W&M Monday, I just could not picture myself at William & Mary.

Once again, thank you for your assistance throughout this whole process - it definitely made applying and my decision a lot more fluid and easier to comprehend.
