I have been browsing this forum for some time now, and this board has taught me so much about prep school admissions. I just wanted to say thank you, and congratulations to all who are currently attending a boarding school and good luck to everyone who is applying this year.

I say get reject from Deerfield, St. Paul's, Hotchkiss and Episcopal High School.

I don't know enough to evaluate your chances. You should know that no one can do that. However, I like the fact that you are applying to a variety of schools -- not just the most competitive. Your athletic strength should help you, and you certainly have leadership. I think you will be a serious candidate. Good luck! Please keep us posted on how you do.

I don't know why dcheng would say that (post #2). Sarah12, you have a good academic record and seem very accomplished in the three sports and horseback riding. Plus, I sense a nice personality so I'm sure your interviews were great. Some schools are reaches for everyone but I'm sure you are in the running for all. Good luck!

you look great to me! (but i'm starting to get all worried for ME now, if this is what i'm up against! :) )

Score well on the SSATs, but don't stress out about them because they aren't the most important part of your application. Stress your most active ECs (Extracurriculars).

Also, I agree with BurbParent in that it's good youre applying to a variety of schools! I personally know someone who goes to Episcopal - they'll be a senior next year - and it's a great school with a very supportive environment.

what are your SSAT scores?
