Well, it's been a very long journey, but I'm glad to say I've finally made it safely to the end of this one. I just wanted to say that I am very excited about going to college next year, and I could not have made it there without the help of everyone on this forum.

Anyways, I guess some of the posters here are interested in where I'm going to school, so I'm proud to say I'll be a Commodore! Vanderbilt has had an unbelievably competitive admissions year, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be able to attend. I know I've had a lot of issues with going there in the past, but I've worked it out with my parents, and I have no regrets.

Congrats!!! +1 for Vanderbilt is a great school and I know that you will make the best of all opportunities presented to you and that you will have an amazing 4 years.

Great! Now you can be a student poster on the Vandy forum and provide the inside scoop to all those eager future Commodores. Prospective students need posts from actual students even more than from the parental fan clubs (speaking as a senior cheer captain for Grinnell.)

I am glad for you! I felt you had great choices and some unusual obstacles to reach this point. I welcome you to the Parents forums any time. Good luck next year. Vanderbilt is a wonderful school.

Congratulations! I just extended a job offer to a Vandy grad who has been interning for us. Sharp as a tack, motivated and I hope she accepts. Great choice!
