and all the other "veteran" posters. And of course TSocash! Thursday night my son decided on UR over Michigan and GWU and we are thrilled. Even though we are a U of M family (and giving up in state tuition....gulp!!) I have felt for a long time that UR was the right place/fit for him. Your posts have been full of information that has helped us. He will be visiting the 2016 experience in April and I hope to tag along this time as I couldn't make it on his first visit. Thanks for taking the time to answer questions on this forum!

(looking for “like” button…)

Speaking as a UR parent (and hoping for my second to go there in the fall…) - welcome!

If you mean Michigan, my dad & both my brothers went there and I went there for law school.

I’m sure your son will enjoy UR.

What year did you graduate from U of M law? My husband and I are both 1982 grads and 1979 undergrad.

Glad I was able to help!

And coincidentally, my UR student graduating in May has accepted a job at U of M med school.

shs1975. Check your pm. We were in the same class.

WOWM, terrific. Ann Arbor is a good place. It’s become much more college town with less of the older vibe - not as much to my liking - but it’s definitely one of the better places to live.

Lergnom that is so funny. I tried to reply to your message, it is the first time I attempted so hopefully you will receive!
