I was considering flying home for Thanksgiving Break, but I would have to leave a day or so earlier to actually make it home on Thanksgiving. Does any current USC student/parent know if teachers hold really rigorous classes on those couple days right before Thanksgiving?? Or can kids sometimes leave early and not have their grade hurting.

Kids do this from colleges around where I'm from, but I didn't know about USC.

It all depends on your teachers. Both years I've left a day early. Freshman year I think my two classes were cancelled, and this past year, I just didn't go to my classes (they weren't going to be doing anything important). Some teachers might not have class, but that will be rare. Most will probably have relatively easy classes the last day before break just because they know a lot of people won't be there. That doesn't mean the entire week of Thanksgiving will be easy though. It also depends on your teacher's attendance policy. You can miss some classes, and it won't hurt your grade at all. Some teachers will mark you down for being absent.
