Thanksgiving Break

<p>I see the cornelltickets.com has a schedule up for Fall Break, but nothing yet for Thanksgiving break. I emailed the address listed but no response yet.</p>

<p>For those that can remember as far back as last year. Do they generally run the same number of buses for Thanksgiving break as they do for fall break or more of them?</p>

<p>Regarding missing class. My D has a BIOG 1101 lecture on 11/25 that gets out at 9:55. Would be much easier to get her on a flight if she could miss that class. What is the likelihood that missing that one lecture will be a big deal? I know it is close to finals so I am just trying to be careful. She looked for the syllabus online and says there is nothing up for the fall class yet.</p>

<p>Just trying to book this asap as it seems the flights are getting full and prices are moving upwards rapidly.</p>

<p>It’s a lot easier to skip out a big lecture than it is to skip a small class. I would wait until your D gets a copy of the syllabus before you book her flight home. It is highly unlikely that anything major will be due that day, but it’s better to err on the side of caution.</p>

<p>Would it be best if she just decide on her own, or should she actually ask the prof?</p>

<p>Syllabi are generally given out on the first day. It’ll be apparent how strict the professor is regarding attendance.</p>
