That "4-1" program

<p>I saw this on the app where you go 4 years at SEAS and 1 year at CC and get double degrees, but I'm having trouble finding it on the website. Anyone help me with this? Thanks.</p>

<p>is this competitive? or as long as you meet all of the requirements? and do usually many of the SEAS students pursue it?</p>

<p>Anyone in good academic standing can pursue it. Columbia is happy to have you around for a 5th year and pay $40K more. I don't know what the stats are, but I know maybe a half-dozen people who did it. I personally think it is a ridiculous waste of time and money.</p>
