That big envelope

When you received that big white envelope, it contained a folder with some paperwork (for you to sign and return), a “magazine” about the Academy, some banking info… and, did some of you also get a huge blue award-certificate cover with picture of an eagle on the left side and a certificate on the right?

no certificate cover here..

And what would that award certificate signify? Why are you asking?

No, it just came in a folder--a bent folder!

FM: Our son's folder and certificate was presented to him by his ALO at his graduation ceremony.

Usually that is presented to you by your ALO, although it doesn't have to be. My ALO was too busy, so a former Navy chief I knew well presented it to me instead.

so that is when i will get the certificate...thanks for ruining the suprise!! not really, :)

hey, fencersmother! i heard about sam-congrats to him!!!

So are both the fencers coming now?

TY MissMuff; we're glad that stress if finally over!

Congrads Fencer Family another set of USAFA Twins.

Awesome. Congratulations Fencersmother. It was wonderful meeting you at Orientation. Now to just get that daughter in! LOL

Potters 1st semester coach was one of 3 siblings all attending USAFA. A C1C, C3C, and a C4C all there at the sametime. Great way to save on college tuition.

I know of 4 siblings attending the academy. One just graduated, another is in '08 or '09, and the youngest twins are in '11. That really confused me, before I knew about the twins!

I have a friend here in 2010 with me who has an older brother in the USAFA class '09, two older brothers that were USMA and USNA grads, and one more younger brother who will be "forced" to one of them!

how cool is that !!

both fencers are coming to USAFA.

fencermom, are they going to wait until I-day to get their haircut !?

Just talked with potter she hopes they will seek out the assistance of a Barber before I-day....gentle encouragement. :)

Fencersmom,
Sounds like you really have to move to CO now!

Please tell me that fencers don't have to cut their beautiful hair.....

uhh....
hahahahha
