That Cindy Sheehan Again...WDYT??

She is dishonoring her son by doing this.
Now she's buds with Chavez.

Just sit down, morn your son's honorable death, and shut up.
She's trying to take advantage of a tragety.

Has anyone even looked into her involvment with her son's life? Apparently she was barely even involved until after he died.

Anti-war protesters are acceptable as long as they know their place and don't "annoy" you? Imagine how "annoyed" Cindy Sheehan is towards President Bush who forced her son into a dangerous and ultimately fatal situation based on lies and/or stupidity.

Enlisting in the military doesn't mean you have to give up your principles. Yes, it means defending your country, but it should also mean defending it for the right reasons. Based on this logic, all suicide bombers should be respected because they're also doing their duty.

Terrorism is relative. Some may view Truman as a terrorist for killing hundreds of thousands of Japanese civilians by use of the atomic bombs in order to keep the Soviets in check. Oh wait, that's to preserve "peace".

Can you prove to them that their value is wrong? You probably can't and thus you cannot say that the war is unjust.

By the same logic, you also cannot prove that the war is infact just. I dont think the war is just and i think its bs. :) And Cindy Sheehan, well i agree with her but she is being a little over the top.

TuftsPlease,
How dare you call her a nuthead? You realize how much she is going through? Losing a son. So are you calling someone who lost a son and wants to speak out against an unjust war a nuthead? She has every right to do what she is doing. Of couse the government does not respect that because they arrested her for expressing her opinion. (well found out she had charges dropped).

One of the schools that I've applied to this year was the Air Force Military Academy. Should I die promoting to what I felt was a fair cause to the world around me, remember, there is no draft..., and my parents acted the way Cindy Sheehan did, I would be furious at my parents. If I was to be accepted and go there, first and foremost they would have to understand that I wished to apply to a military academy because I'm proud of the piece of the country that I am. If someone is joining the military for other reasons, then perhaps there heart isn't in the right place and they shouldn't be there in the first place.

That's right she has every right to what she wants to do. You know who also has those rights? A nuthead.

I know if I should die my mother would be like, "That dumb child. Didn't see know what she was getting into? That pain in the butt never listens to me." At least she would not take her anger out on the world for my own decision. Suicide bombers are following their frickin religion also. I only respect them for helping out in the decrease of idiots (themselves) in the world today.
