i'm pretty sure every class on the planet has one. the one that didn't come to lecture at all and now expects the professor to coddle him/her during dead week, asking a million questions during review sessions, has trouble following what the prof is saying and isnt afraid to voice his/her dilemma. why why why do people not understand the idea of office hours? review sessions with professors are so pointless and get absolutely nothing meaningful covered when one underachiever weighs the class down.

put your hand down and read the dumb chapter, page, paragraph,or even SENTENCE where your question is answered. ugh, people... :l

Lol yes while that can indeed be annoying, there are also the overachievers who like to ask specific questions about the most minute details that are unlikely to be tested simply to show off and then the professor usually cuts out the key stuff he was supposed to cover for the good of the entire class simply bc he had to cater to the one kid…

yeah that too… during this time of the semester i’m always featured with epicfail facepalming and headdesking action! limited-supply, finals-theme crowslayer action figure at a toys-r-us store near you~~~~~~~~~~

I find that less annoying and more helpful in upper division classes, particularly math since we cover things outside the book that become really interesting. It’s pretty dumb for lower divs though since the specific questions are usually detailed towards some type of mechanical procedure of dealing with stuff.

@Batman: Yeah, I have her. I’m not sure. We may have talked about it. Nonetheless, I hate statistics 2. Final’s coming up, and I’m freaking out- to say the least.

How’d you do on the middy? I’ve got two finals on Monday, so I can’t even worry about Stats right now. I’d say the worst is just trying to remember when to apply which formula/box model bs. No reason to freak out though. If you can do the problems, you should be fine

I got a C on the midterm, but over 100 people got A’s. After finding that out, I felt worse than originally. heh.
yeah, I’m definitely having trouble figuring out what methods to apply. Without the chapter numbers, I’m kind of clueless about what they’re expecting of us.
