"The Undergraduate Admissions Office has closed the Regular Decision cycle, therefore you are no longer able to track the status of your application materials. Had a necessary document been missing from your application we would have contacted you."

What does that mean? Decisions are made?

^ No, it means that they are no longer receiving, tracking, and collating application documents. At this point, each applicant’s file is in final form, and it’s all about reading and deciding.

I think it is simply a matter such that the Office is close to finalizing decisions, or has at least commenced the final stages of the review process; this is purely speculation…

^ That’s about right. They’re working towards having a final list of accepted applicants by 3 to 4 days before decisions are posted:

[Q&A with Eric J. Furda | Penn Current](http://www.upenn.edu/pennnews/current/node/3496)

Wow, amazing!! Mind blasting!

Good Luck everyone!

Did anyone else receive an email from Penn about checking their decision online?

I got one as well. Did they send that to all or only those getting in.

^ Undoubtedly, they were sent to all regular decision applicants.

By the way, this now appears on the MyPenn Applicant Portal sign-in page:

Let the countdown begin! :)

Vision for march 29th 5pm screaming lk a girl and running around lk a headless chicken*

Let’s cross our fingers now y’all

ahh! so scared!!

I am nervous and excited at the same time. It’s weird because once I hear from Penn, I’ll only have a month left to decide where I want to go to school net year. I really hope I get accepted to Penn!!! Good luck to everyone else who is counting down the days until March 29th!

Does anyone know how they present the decisions to us? I know you have to use the link that was sent to us via email but when we log into it, will it just flat out tell you that you got accepted, wait listed, or denied?? Or will it be a long document with small print that you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to see your decision? Just wondering…maybe if I find this out, it will relieve some of the stress and anxiety I’m feeling right about now.

If I get accepted to Penn, the decision will be easy :)

ahhhhhh time to go under a rock and hide for the next three weeks, shunning contact with the rest of the world.

It will be a letter from Dean Furda. You’ll know from the first word or two whether you were accepted.

How do waitlisted letters sound, so I don’t need to read on if that’s the case?

^ If you do a search in the Penn forum, you’ll find posts in which people have posted the exact language of the letters in past years.

Thanks 45Percenter. I feel a little better now because I know what to expect. Still anxious of course, though! And I have another question:

When I receive my admission decision on March 29th, will I also find out about financial aid if I am accepted? Or does the financial aid package come after the admission decision ?

I applied to Penn as well and I got email today asking for an interview, but I thought they ended in February does this mean anything?
