The 20 most beautiful colleges

Congratulations again!

The 20 Most Beautiful Colleges in the USA

Hmmm...All very nice places...Cornell, UVA and U.C Santa Barbara should at least get honorable mentions.

Hey, I just post'em. :) But point well taken. Colgate, Denison, Pepperdine, and many others, are beautiful as well.

Mt. Holyoke has the Orchards Golf Club. How many colleges can boast of having a championship golf course designed by the famous Donald Ross?

hey question how do you start a thread or start a question

westpointwanabe: At the bottom of the list of threads there is a white-grey button that says "new thread." Just click that and type.

Any top 20 list that doesn't have Wellesley on it is not worthy of attention.

With no disrespect intended, johnshade, I preferred Mount Holyoke's campus over Wellesley's before I enrolled (as did many Wellesley students with whom I spoke, funny enough!). Wellesley's campus is nice, but doesn't have as great of a layout, and isn't AS aesthetically pleasing, IMO (and I don't like the very woodsy campuses as much). I've seen a few of the others on the list also, and agree that their campuses were nicer. It all depends on taste, however. I just had a discussion with a Smithie about how I fell in love with Mount Holyoke's campus, but disliked the random layout of Smith, whereas she loves Smith's campus because it is very "unique" (it has very stylistically "mismatched" buildings and houses).
