<p>^^ nah, it wouldnt be all the same because the UC's still recruit athletes. not saying athletes dont have high enough scores (to avoid being bashed about me thinking athletes are dumb) but in general they arent in the top 50%. im sure drue holiday has a lesser SAT score than most if not all of my friends at ucla.</p>

<p>So far DD has gotten into 10 colleges, including Tulane, SMU, TCU, Chapman and some honors colleges.</p>
<p>She has been offered anywhere from $10K to $23K in merit $$$ per year!</p>
<p>I think that SAT's are important BUT they look at the entire applicant. GPA, Rank, SAT's and essays are all important factors that admissions look at.</p>
<p>Now...we are waiting on the "BIG 3"....Harvard, Yale and Stanford.</p>
