The 2000's, My prep until SAT D-Day

Just finished reviewing the stuff I should have done yesterday…
& the next couple of days or so are going to be a little “spotty”. Apparently I am “required” to go some social events tomorrow -___-
I think I’ll try to cramp in some prep here and there, next week I’m going all out.

So yesterday I only managed to finish 2 sections, probably going to finish the rest of the sections today.
I really need to get on this test, hopefully I get good results. I think I’ll try to go all out today(if my homework allows…)

Result…
CR:530-590
M:550-630
W:530-660
Totals:1610-1880
Man I’ve lost it… ugh review tomorrow.
I guess I have to rinse and repeat from here on out.

Reviewing answers today, I will have some more results later tonight.

Hopefully this last test was just a fluke…

i love your topic title!

I wish you luck.

I’m working through PWNtheSAT because I need a ~100-200 point improvement in math. 2 weeks, 20 sections… it will be intense :l. Haven’t really studied prior to now.

I’m sorry that I’ve been inactive on this lately, but school has started for me and I don’t have as much time as I used to have. Anyways, I’ll hopefully be doing a complete test soon and I’ll post my results! Good luck!

@piratebay Thanks!
@lldm21 PWNtheSAT is pretty effective, I saw immediate improvement after reading most of the guides. Best of luck on your endeavors, what’s your current score?
@HelloKittyx Glad to hear that you’re back!

So after review today I made about ~20+ STUPID self-mistakes. Looks like I have to work on speed in the upcoming weeks. I guess this calls for a change in strategy.

My practice test prior to getting the book was a 590. Sans careless mistakes, a 640. Hoping to break 700.

I’m kinda on the same boat haha, you should be able to break 700 no problem.
I guess I’ll start another practice test, results will be up tonight.

Well guys, this is pretty disappointing…
CR:510-570
M:530-610
W:570-710
Totals:1610-1890

I’ve been timing myself more aggressively, and this is the sad side effect of that…

I can’t break a 2000.
Been fluctuating from a consistent 1850-1920
I got 640 Math, 600 cr, and 680 writing…
My math dropped from 690s to 630-660s. gotta break that 700.

Reviewing today, might take a practice test tonight. That or I should start my college essays…

How’s everyone else doing?

Did a practice test earlier, same scores, somewhere around 1910 and 1950; can’t go any higher, but I wish to maintain these scores in Oct!

What do you think?

Oh. I am not doing well on my SAT tests. Gladly, I have one year left to improve.
At least a score perfectly in the Maths Section

I envy you HelloKittyx haha, my scores seem to fluctuate too much…

I’ll be starting up again on Monday, this frustration is really getting to me.

2 weeks left guys, godspeed to you all.

Don’t get frustrated- you’re putting in a lot of effort which is commendable in and of itself.

What would you guys say is the bed way to improve your writing score? I constantly get low 500s in the writing and I cannot seem to improve it.

Thanks lldm21, I’m just a little concerned that I dropped from 1680-1950 to 1610-1880.

@imtoobeastforyou I’d suggest Sparknote’s 7 deadly errors to get you started. Then with some practice in the BB you should be able to raise your score.

Chilled out today, just started reviewing.
As for tomorrow, most likely a practice test.

I am so glad this is coming to a end.
