I'm going for a 2300+ (my last one was 2200), and wanted to know what you all thought about 2400 practice books (like Kaplan's, for instance). Have you any experience with them? Is it realistic to raise my score 100 points for June?

I'm interested as well,
But no one ever gives a straight answer to this question :(

That's not good news . . . come on 2300+ scorers, fill me in!

my cousin used the book called 'Grammatix' and got 2390 New SAT score (800cr, 800w, 790m)

Now is your cousin just really smart or is the book just really good?

I just used the blue book and got 2300. I didn't practice writing the essay and I ended up with a 10 essay score and a 710 overall Writing score (800 CR and 790 Math otherwise). I'm not taking it again so I don't really have suggestions for books other than CB's.

It doesn't matter what book, just practice practice practice.

I second hisoka! Grammatix is extremely enlightening (for me at least)

There's really no content in grammatix; it's pretty much completely obvious things that you've probably already picked up. Maybe if you're scoring consistent 1800s or something...

Then again, I did manage to get a refund processed through 2checkout after buying the book. Your mileage may vary.

I used a little bit of McGraw Hill and got a 2310. But I only did like 3 CR sections as a practice. But I flipped through the Blue book whenever I was in the library. I also did 2 SAT online tests over the summer.
