I have become a valuable asset to his business (Im making him alot of money) and he lends me out to high profile lawyers to do work. I have been doing this for about 6 months and will continue until i leave for college.
I will very likely start working directly for Marc Ostrofsky (Networking/word got around about my adeptness, and he wanted to hire someone to help him managing websites and the like. Look him up on Wikipedia if you dont know who he is. He’s partners with Ross Perot) Im meeting with him next week. If i start working for him he will likely write me a letter of recommendation for college!! Im so excited about that!
Also I have been playing guitar for 10 years and have played many concerts and taught at a few summer camps
Been on numerous mission trips (habitat for humanity and hurricane Ike relief) and have done tons of community service with the boy scouts

And vanderbilt too please?

Okay, let me get to work. I’m going to start in the order posted.

hi!: I think you have a lot to offer and your numbers are strong. However, like I tell a lot of people here, some of the schools you’re applying to, the applicants have the same numbers if not higher so you have to find something to differenitate yourself from the pool of applicants. I think your EC’s are a bit weak, so I would say you need to have STRONG RECS AND ESSAY to turn things around. Overall, I think you have a decent shot at a majority of the schools listed. Based off of this, there’s nothing that will make an admissions officer say “whoa!, I think this kid will do awesome here!” so you have to make sure your essay/recs seal the deal. Good Luck!

westhamunited32: you also have an intresting resume. I think what’s going to hurt you is your UW GPA. It’s too low for competitive purposes; it’s not nothing that will get you automatically rejected but if space become limited and there’s a student with the same stats as you and a higher GPA then that’s where it can hurt you. The EC’s aren’t bad as you’ve done some unique and impressive things. Your SAT score is great as well too (however, you should see if the colleges you’re applying to uses superscore; some colleges use it while others allow you to only send in the highest sitting; not taking the highest from each section).
