I cannot believe that the journey will end in 30 days! Anyone having anxiety and dreaming about acceptances and rejections practically every night? Anyone wondering if there's one more thing you could do to increase your chances of admission to your first choice school?? Any regrets? Would you have done anything differently?? I'm wondering whether decisions have already been made . . . .

I tend to think a new journey will start in 30 days. All I can say is every kid has fought a good fight, and will end up being a winner no matter what the outcome.

No anxiety, no dreaming nor fear, but a healthy dose of curiosity how things will measure up after throwing in everything into the pot. For us, it feels like going to a sports meet where it is great to get a win, but OK if lost as there will be many other alternatives and stops ahead.

My d is a very wonderful candidate, and I don’t think there is anything she can do to better her chance as she is already at the top of almost everything she does. Reading from this forum, I am thinking she could have applied to several more schools. The only thing that can hurt her is FA, as we can afford at most a half. If she ends up not going, I already have a great plan how to put that half to good uses :-)

I believe a lot of decisions have been made as more will be made in the coming days. If you happen to be a person believing in fate, simply be patient to see how life unveils itself on M10. I love the suspension!!

As they say the “hay is in the barn,” but we will still be checking the mail on the 10th and 11th.

good luck to all. I too, am excited for the 10th!

I love the wonderful and infectious positive energy!! I can’t help worrying and wondering about my S’s fate on March 10th. I guess we have done everything we can in putting our best foot forward but it’s so hard to not read into every detail (e.g. one AO remembers son well; another had no idea who he was upon second meeting). Ugh. Love AND hate the waiting game! I don’t think I can go through the college app process in six years! :o)

sometimes im not thinking about it, but then i come home from school and my mom is like OHMYGOSH! BOARDING SCHOOL! And it alllll comes back

Good point, ylaxw. I will stop talking about it in front of my S!
