The 5th Most Competitive/Selective/Whatever Catholic College/University

The various ratings and reference books list four Catholic colleges and universities as being most competitive/most selective: Georgetown University, University of Notre Dame, Boston College and College of the Holy Cross.

My question is this: what Catholic instutition would be ranked fifth ... or sixth .. or seventh etc.

Just wonderin'

I have a few ideas, but I will give them later

These are definitely the big 4. Perhaps Villanova as number 5?

providence college

Marquette University, Loyola University, Villanova, and possibly Loyola University Chicago would follow.

Villanova and Marquette, definitely. I would probably add Catholic University of America.

Santa Clara and Providence would also be up there, too. Maybe St. Louis.

as far as selectivity, i think its Nova

I also left out Fordham

Villanova!!!

Santa Clara, Marquette, St. Louis.

Marquette, Villanova, and Fordham is starting to get pretty selective

Santa Clara, SLU, Marquette, Villanova, Fordham in that next tier

San Diego, Portland, loyolas, Xavier prob in the next one

What are the top 4, out of curiosity?

The top four: Notre Dame, Georgetown, Boston College and Holy Cross.

I don't know anything about the University of Dayton, but I have met some students from there and they were incredible people
