The 90s kids thread.

Well in about 4-5 years most of the 90s generation will have graduated from high school. But of course, most of Generation Y should be signing out this and next year. But I'm not here to discuss the finer point of which generations was which and who was better. Not am I here to discuss the 90s. I made this to discuss the things that existed in our childhood and how it impacted us today in high school. 90s kid are usually described as from late 80s to '97/'98 since those born in the late 90s will most likely had not have the true 90s experince

-Remember shows like: The Powerpuff Girls, Pokemon, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, Yugioh, Digimon, and Blues Clues? Of course who can forgot one of the more memorable ones like Dragonball Z and Spongebob and Power Rangers? Fresh-Prince of Bel-Air and boy meet world anyone?

-In our pasts, People actually took plastic lunch boxes to school.
-Goosebumps was probably THE books series of the 90s. Basically they were fun but horror story. They may movies and tv shows off of them.

-Some of us still got the urge to say "Not" after every sentence. Nah I was kidding... not.
Of course these days we like put "like" in the middle of the sentence.

-Educational Magic School Bus... Back when learning was actually FUN.

I don't want to get too ahead of myself so that other people actually get a chance to input.

MAGIC SCHOOL BUS
Code Name: Kids Next Door
Suite Life of Zach and Cody
Liberty Kids
Zoom!!!
Arthur!!!
and my favorite as a little kid:
(Hey its) Franklin (coming over to your House)

Do you really want to remember these things?

One of my favorite quotes from the 90’s:

“Now, I have to go back to work on my State of the Union speech. And I worked on it until pretty late last night. But I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I’m going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you”

Full House

Magic School Bus FTW!
I also liked Zoboomafoo, Power Rangers, Pokemon, Powerpuff Girls, Liberty Kids.

Good times, good times. By the way, is anyone elsr just dvr-ing all the boy meets world episodes on MTV 2, or am I just too nostalgic? Also, I think the line would be about the 97-98 school year (my year). If you had older siblings you’d be a nineties kid, if not you’re pretty solidly Gen Z.

*Also not really kid 90s but Alanis Morissette is kind of my life lol

I remember watching a commercial for the first “real” mobile cell phone by singular, before it was sold to AT&T. Memories.

and of course… Clueless!!

I miss those shows a lot. The kid shows today suck.
