<p>Depends on the difficulty of the test. Each one should have a slightly different scale, and nothing is set in stone. For example, on a math section of average difficulty by ACT standards, a 36 would only be awarded to those who don’t miss any questions. For an unusually hard math section, you might be able to score a 36 even if you miss a question or two.</p>
