Couple questions on the activity list I’m attaching to my apps:
Is it better to organize by subject (as in…Music, Sports, etc) or by category (Employment/Internship, Nonacademic Extracurriculars, Community Service)? Is it better to organize by order of importance, or in roughly chronological order?
Lastly, the descriptions…is a full-blown paragraph OK, or are they only meant to be around 2-3 sentences long?
<p>Very short descriptions. Adcoms have a limited amount of time to review your application. Saying too much means you don't really understand what the most critical information is.</p>
<p>Organize your subjects/categories in order of importance. Within those groupings, reverse chronological order.</p>
